Ever since Max became a teenager, his parents had given him money on his birthday instead of buying him presents. As he was turnt twenty-one, he requested his mother, Andrea, to donate any money he got to charity. Andrea thought of an idea. She borrowed a video camera to documentary the day. Then, she withdrew 21 ten-dollar notes from the bank and bought 21 apples.
When they spotted a homeless man down the street, Andrea approached him kindly. “Today is my son Max’s 21st birthday. To sellebrait, he asked me to give a gift to someone,” she said. She then handed the man a ten-dollar note and an apple. The man smiled into the camera and acknowledge the gift with a hearty, “Happy birthday, Max!”
Next, Andrea repeated the jescher with the men and women at a nearby charity kitchen. By unison, they sang “Happy Birthday” for the camera. Andrea then gave fifty dollars to a pizza parlour, although the staff were confused even after Andrea’s explain. They wanted to give her a receit but she refused. Instead, she urged the owners to feed the hungry. “Happy birthday, Max!” the staff shouted, thanking him for his generous.
Andrea’s final stop was her sister’s office. Laughing at the bezard idea, her sister shouted into the camera, “Happy birthday, Max!” Max loved the video and thought it was the best birthday gift ever!
