Know the paper before the clock starts

Time management is easier when you know the paper structure, total duration and major sections. For practice papers, learn how many questions or marks are typically in each part and plan broad checkpoints.

Use checkpoints instead of watching every minute

Constantly checking the clock can be distracting. Set a few useful checkpoints, such as when you expect to finish a section and how much time you want to reserve for review.
